I'VE BEEN DUPED!!

HELLO FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS!!

TODAY I BRING YOU AN ANSWER TO A QUESTION THAT MANY OF YOU MAY HAVE HAD BUT DID NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO.

LET'S GET RIGHT TO IT:
YEP!!  DEY IS DEE SAME!!
DON'T BELIEVE ME?  WATCH THIS!!

KEEP WATCHING!!
KEEP WATCHING!!

THIS THUMB PICTURE HAS BOTH POLISHES ON IT!! ONE ON ONE SIDE AND ONE ON THE OTHER!  CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE?
I DID NOT USE AN OPAQUE NUDE HERE TO SHOW HOW SHEER BOTH OF THESE POLISHES ARE.
THIS PICTURE HERE DOES HAVE THE OPAQUE NUDE UNDERNEATH TO SHOW THAT IT REALLY DOES HIDE THE VNL - EVEN THROUGH THE SUN!!
THIS IS INSIDE NO FLASH - SEE HOW OPAQUE IT LOOKS NOW??
EACH FINGER IS PAINTED WITH A DIFFERNT POLISH AND DIFFERENT COATS.
CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE??  *GIGGLES - CAUSE ME KNOWS*

WAIT FOR IT!!

WAIT FOR IT!!

WAIT FOR IT!!

SO THERE!!  I BET YA DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING, DID YA???
SO YES, VIRGINIA, THESE TWO ARE DUPES!!
As Hannibal from the A Team would say - I love it when a plan comes together!!!  OPI should have come out with an A-Team Collection!!

Okay - now for the last one and just because it's so darn pretty:

I CANNOT TAKE THE CREDIT FOR THESE NEXT FEW PICTURES - THEY ARE THE WORK OF OUR GARDNER AND I TOOK THE PICTURES AT THE SUGGESTION OF MY DEAR HUSBAND WHEN HE SAW MY NAIILS!!
THE ONLY GREEN THUMB I HAVE IS WHEN I WEAR IT ON MY THUMB NAIL!!

THE HUBBS IS SO PROUD OF OUR GARDEN (AS IF HE TENDS TO IT HIMSELF - THE MOST HE DOES IS PRAY FOR RAIN!!)
THE COLOR TO ME WAS AS DEEP AS FLORIDA NAVAL ORANGES, BUT THE APPLICATION WAS AS THIN AS TROPICANA ORANGE JUICE!!
THIS BABY TOOK 4 COATS TO GET TO OPACITY!!  4 COATS
SHE WAS JUST AS PRETTY AS THE FLOWERS AND BESIDES BEING SO RUNNY APPLICATION WASN'T TOO BAD EITHER.  I DID APPLY AN OPAQUE WHITE (WET N WIILD) TO SHOW THE BOLDNESS OF THE COLOR!

WELL, THAT DOES IT FOR ME TODAY - OH, I ALMOST FORGOT -
JACKIE S. ASKED ME A QUESTION REGARDING BIOTIN.

THIS IS WHAT I TAKE ONCE A DAY AFTER MEALS ALONG WITH A PRENATAL VITAMIN - I'LL DO A TUTORIAL ON MY NAILS ONE DAY NEXT WEEK - AS WE WATCH MY NAILS GROW AGAIN.
WELL, THAT DOES IT FOR ME TODAY!!

UNTIL NEXT TIME... HAPPY POLISHING!!
XOXOXOXO

DONT BE A GHOST - LEAVE ME A POST!!

  1. Thanks for the comp pics...for some reason my opi looks darker in the bottle then the zoya. I have to try both and see how they look. Love the orange and you know I know what a good navel orange taste like! lol! Love the flower. What is the name of it? My nails/hair grow fast enough don't want to take biotin because if I do my sisterlocks will be down to my ankles. lol!!

  2. I hear ya on the Biotin - but strangely enough it only aids in my nail growth - my hair is just thicker, not longer and my skin is still flawless (Thanks Mary Kay)!!

It look darker in the bottle and I thought it would look darker on my nail, but as you can see Charla only took two coats where CimYN took three coats - and they were both literallly identical!!

I have no clue what that flower is called!! Elephant ears something or other. I just tell the gardner what to do and my husband pays him!! :-) They are in the front of my house so they are the charm of my block!! :-)

    You are so welcome!!

  3. Beautiful flowers used in your picture. Thanks for the dupe post. I know its been the buzz on blogs this week. I have Charla from the exchange and am loving the fact that its much cheaper than OPI would have been. Happy Day!

  5. Awesome! I saw on another blog that they were dupes, so I got the Zoya in the Exchange instead of buying the OPI...NICE!

Love the orange and thanks for the pic of the Biotin!

Also I used your trick of a nude polish, and I topped it with Sally's "DVD", its work great! Thanks!

  6. @ Jackie - great minds think alike if you saw the comp elsewhere. Glad I could be of assistance for you - that nude trick is the best kept secret for sheers!!

    @Rebecca - Thank You!!

  7. i am glad someone else thinks they are dupes. i wore them for 3 days and couldn't see a difference, but other people said they could! i thought i was losing it.

  8. I love the name of the OPI but I think I'll pass, as I don't need a dupe. I take the same biotin, I really like that one. My old multivitamin was strong enough to equal three of these, and it would give me a stomachache even when taken with meals. This way I get what I need from a multivitamin with added biotin for my nails! (I also only really saw improvement on my nails, rather than hair or skin)

I've been looking for a good opaque nude, but they all seem to come out much too sheer. :/ Ah, well, the quest continues!

  9. I don't think I have any of those polishes but they sure look great on you.
