Borghese Beauties!!
HELLO FELLOW FOLLOWERS!!
I don't know why, but I seem to be on a aqua blue kick lately. Okay, well, they're not exactly kicks - but my swatches of late have been of bright aqua's and green and today is no different (I promise this color pattern will change!!)
Anywho, on with the show!!
(For swatching: bc/ridgefiller/ 3 coats of np/tc)
Borghese Pistachio
Okay, so I usually take bottle name pictures and I was so in awe by these two colors I completely forgot!! :-O
I have yet to this day ever seen or eaten a pistachio that was this color green!
This green, to me, was simply AMAZING!! I loved it from the first stroke to the final stroke of the third coat!!
I took her outside and she impressed me even more!! She was like BAM!
In your face BEAUTIFUL!!
I have heard that others don't care for the brush. I will admit the brush is a little wonky - but it was not so bad, that I couldn't work with it. Though the polish was slightly sheer - I had no need for an opaque nude underneath and the brush left no stroke lines. Pure heaven!!
Borghese Menta
Here's another Aqua Blue for ya!! She was just as pretty as all the others that I have worn. This color was very sheer and required an opaque nude under it. Though I knew better NOT to do it, I did this swatching under a fan and ended up with tettible bubbling! :-(
The bubbling was not caused by the np - but my not checking the surroundings prior to swatching.
She was still beautiful and applied wonderfully. I enjoyed swatching this and felt like I was back in spain looking through the crystal clear beach waters, just as I did with Orly's Fiesta and Revlon's Ocean Breeze.
I guess besides pastels - aqua blue must have been the color on my mind when shopping.
So, do you have an Borghese from the Tutti Frutti Collection?
Did you happen to pick up these two beauties?
If you have one of the Aqua blue's that I have showcase, you may not need all three of these - but I love them all the same and I promise you they will be getting plenty of love this summer!!
