Throwback Thursday!!

HELLO FELLOW FOLLOWERS!!

In lieu of showing you something new today, I decided to give you a peek into my past!! :-)

Today I will be showing you my very first week on the nail board - well, actually my second week - because the first week, you can't post pictures!!

OPULENT CLOUD!!
I've always know how to PAINT my nails, I just never knew the true concept of POLISHING my nails.

This polish - unbeknownst unto me was the rage of the moment when I joined the nailboard - I was so far removed from other nail polishes, I had no idea Sally Hasen had so many bottle shapes let alone those that did not come in a small box that hung next to nail treatments!!

Opulent Cloud was a surprise to me when I did my first swap!!

I was still cutting my cuticles at the time - UGH!!  Thank goodness I've since learned better!!  NO CUTTING CUTICLES!!  As you can tell from my other posts - my cuticles are much healthier (and happier) now.

When I was so proudly displaying this color as a holographic nail polish, I was politely called out on the nail board and was told, no - honey, that's a duochrome!  *hangs head in shame*

The only things I knew of nail polish before the nailboard was cream and frost - that's it!!  But as the old Virginia Slims commericial used to say "You've come a long way, baby"!!

OPI DS CLASSIC

This little baby here was my first DS polish that I bought and I could not for the life of me figure out what was the big deal about DS, let alone a Hologrpahic.  Even after I put her on and showed my pics I was still dumbfounded.  But I displayed her any way because I thought it was my mannequine hands look!! :-O

I really have come a long way - even if I say so myself!!

Well, that's it for me today.  Short and sweet and to the point.

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed my blast to the past.

Until next time...happy polishing!!
XOXOXOXO
