Going to the Chapel and I'm....

Hello Fellow Followers!!

...gonna LEAF HIM AT THE ALTAR!!

Yep!  That's right!!  I'm gonna stand him up!!
Well, if I actually show up, I'm not really standing him up.  I'd have to not show up to stand him up, right??? *scratches head at the thought*
Well, this is the reason why I am going to 'leaf' him - my mani it just too pretty!!  I got all dressed up, did my mani and decided I just couldn't do it!!
I just sat down on the bed and just stared at my mani!!  This baby was just too pretty and I decided I wasn't going to change it again right now!  Look at that satiny finish!!
Why couldn't I do it if my mani was so pretty, you ask -
BECAUSE I ENDED UP WITH SHRINKAGE!!
It was my own fault.  I used too many coats and not enough SV!  I was NOT going to go out in public with shrinkage!!  Just the thought of it makes me cringe!
So, we can set another date but as for me today...I'm gonna
LEAF HIM AT THE ALTAR!!

Okay - yeah, I know the story was corny and silly - but it was the only thing I could think of to make a funny story with the title.

I used Mac Abalone Shell as my nude base since this np was sheer - so this only required two flawlessly applied coats.  Since I had too many coats of everything else on is the reason I think I ended up shrinkage - not the np itself.  See my manicure routine above.

I have quite a few $OPI's (Sephora by OPI), but this is the first one that I've actually worn - yeah, I have waaaaay too many untrieds!!

So, what do you think - besides the shrinkage - is green one of your favorite colors or a color you could actually do without?

Let me know - I'd love to hear from you!!

Till next time...Happy Polishing!!
XOXOXOXO

  1. Oh I love it on you! I'm a huge green fan (as you know). It's the bulk of my collection. The $OPI bottles just turn me off.

  4. @RMC - Thank You!! No not a duochrome - just shiny and satiny. I don't think $OPI like SV though - next time I use it I'll try it with Poshe and hopefully get better results. Go get it gurl - you can never have too much green!! you can never have too much np!! tee hee :-)
